Judith & Chris' Froggy's Beach Wedding
Tuesday 7 February 2012

Judith & Chris were married at Froggy's Beach Coolangatta on a wonderful summers day as the sun went down and the moon came out! Judith and Chris had their two beautiful children Charlotte and Christian as their Bridesmaid and Bestman with Chris' brother Andrew passing the rings and witnessing with his mum. Christian & Charlotte were passing the ribbons in the original two ribbon handfasting and also a took part in their touching Family Ceremony. The decoration on the beach was amazing yet again with Beautiful Beach Weddings creating the perfect atmosphere.John Bortolin took superb photos and when the moon came out on Froggys Beach John captured the romance and natural energy of the surroundings and the love they have for each other so beautifully.

Janet & George's New Years Eve
Bilambil Heights Wedding 2011

Janet & George's Wedding was an amazing and powerful spiritual handfasting wedding ceremony. It was so relaxed, full of fun, laughter and pure joy. The property was surrounded by nature and even the odd cow wandering about. The property in Bilambil Heights overlooked the Tweed Valley and had panoramic views of the Gold Coast. George built a stone circle for the Handfasting and each of their four adult children stood behind the large boulders marking the four cardinal directions North South East & West and symbols of each of the four elements Fire, Air, Earth & Water were represented on the stones. The fifth child George Junior passed the handfasting cords. Janet spent a lot of time and placed their conscious presence and intentions when making her own handfasting cords. She poured in loving energy and spirit turning out the most spectacular and powerful cords for the binding of their hands. During the evening their reception was lit up by fireworks exploding across the coast at Twin Towns; first Tweed Heads and then Coolangatta an hour after together with Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach and earlier at Paradise Point. A big thank you to Tim for taking the great photos. I married Tim & Belinda, Janet's daughter on the 19th November 2011at Parkwood International Golf Club Parkwood Gold Coast.

Melene & Khaled's Main Beach Wedding
Wedding Friday 3 February 2012
Melene from Canberra & Khaled from Jordan (Bahrain) planned a chic beach wedding on a platform overlooking Main Beach decorated beautifully by Jane from Down the Aisle with Style. The weather was fine all day until Melene walked down the aisle then it started to rain. Luckily I had 6 of my special golf umbrellas with vents ready to put over the wedding party and after a few minutes the rain stopped. To honour Melene's Greek heritage we incorporated a Greek Ring exchange and a specially written Stefana the Greek Wedding Crowns Ceremony which was performed by Bestman Koumbaro Stacy & Maid Of Honour Koumbara Polly. In a traditional Greek wedding ceremony the bride and groom are crowned with Stefana. The Stefana are joined by a ribbon which symbolizes the unity of the couple and the joining of two souls. The crowns are prepared on a silver platter lying on a bed of rice and sugared almonds. Melene and Khaled looked so happy together walking around the table 3 times showered with rice for luck and fertility.
Alwyn & Tien's Benowa Wedding
Saturday 21 January 2012
Alwyn & Tien had a beautiful intimate ceremony at their home in Broadbeach Waters overlooking the Gold Coast waterways. The couple included my Zen Buddhist Shell Ceremony and Buddhist Vows which reflected Tien's Vietnamese heritage.
Nikita & Dean's Historic Rivermill Wedding
Saturday 7 January 2012
Nikita & Dean were married in the The Historic Rivermill Chapel. It is located at Mount Nathan alongside the Coomera River set in the valley below Mt Tamborine in the Gold Coast Hinterland. The Rivermill Chapel is a quaint Queenslander chapel surrounded by historic buildings which added to the magical atmosphere on the day. Ava-Lee being only tiny managed to walk down the aisle all by herself carrying her flower basket...she was a champion. Dean & Nikita included a funny personalised poem they said to each other which suited Dean's infectious and dry sense of humour. Dean & Nikita wrote personal vows to each other that were a perfect way to express their love and lifetime promises to each other. I performed a beautiful Blessing of the Hands & Ring Ceremony followed by a gift presented by Nikita & Dean to Ava-Lee which represented their commitment to their special little girl. The atmosphere in the chapel was electric and when I pronounced them husband and wife their family and friend showered them with rose petals and blessings as they walked out of the chapel hand in hand grinning from ear to ear.
Kelly & Andrew's Renewal of Vows
Mermaid Beach Tuesday 19.1.2012
Kelly & Andrew chose the Mermaid Beach Platform to Renew their Vows before their family & friends. This spot had special significance for them both. The day was fine but the wind was blowing a gale as we were to start. Nothing could dampen their spirits and we found a sheltered spot behind a Pandanus Tree in the park just behind the beach. We co-created the ceremony which included their Love Story, how they met and and their life journey as a couple and as a family. They wrote their own beautiful vows using my online resources and I wrote a personalised Sand Ceremony for them including their 3 children. Their children Ryan, Toby & Hayley loved pouring their special coloured sand into the central vase. Andrew helped Toby pour his as he was too little to pour his own. I took group photos for them and Kelly & Andrew took some photos on the Boardwalk overlooking Mermaid Beach.
