An extract from Ven. Namdag’s blessing:
“We bless this dragon boat and all who use or see it. May the joys and pleasure which
they bring be treasured by all. As it glides through the water may it bless the water
and all the animals in the water and may those who use it respect the water for its life
giving qualities. We ask all who are here to protect the environment so that, we and
the animals, can not only survive but thrive.”

One of the ancient Hawaiians prayers used in christening canoes and boats refers to the days when huge logs were dragged from the forest to the shore to fashion the great sea-going canoes: "Yesterday you were a tree of the forest," the chant says. Then it proclaims, "Today, you are a man of the sea!"

House Blessings are a wonderful way to increase the positive energy and clear the negative energy from your home.

As your celebrant, I will design a house blessing that is true to who you are. We discuss ideas to establish the appropriate ceremonies and rituals. There are many ways to do this, from clearing away old belonging that keep energy trapped in them using sound vibration, reiki symbols, smudging or burning herbs such as lavender and sage creates a healing process. Crystals such as Amber can be used to cleanse and protect the environment of a home. Apophyllite's (see above) presence in a room enhances the energies as it is a powerful vibrational transmitter. Smokey Quartz and Black Tourmaline have the ability to absorb negative energy and put back pure clean energy.

Utilising the forces of the cardinal directions north, south, east and west and the elements of the earth, air, fire and water, the power of Spirit, spaces can be cleansed of negative energies. New energies are called in and symbols of safety, peace and abundance are set in place to protect the buildings, business or boat and their families or workers.
